I absolutely love this place. Dr Le is so thorough and patient. He explains everything to you and will answer any questions that I have. He is great. I am so glad I found him for my doctor. I will not go to anyone else.

As an individual who has a background in psychology, I had visited other doctors in the area and found their practice lacking, I had just given up on finding any doctor that had the adequate background and staff necessary and as well as the professionalism in the Bluefield area for my needs. Luckily, I found Dr Lee…

Dr.Le's office was very clean, I didn't have to wait long at all to see him, when I did see him, he was very thorough with my visit, took the time to actually address my concerns. Wasn't like most Dr's that just pop in, see you breathing and send you on your way, Dr Le takes the time to talk to you and genuinely…

I found this office in a Google search for places that would take walk-ins because my daughter has some symptoms that, when taken together, were very concerning. Office ladies were nice. Dr. Le was very friendly and concerned about her symptoms. He listened, answered all our questions, and was very thorough in the lab…

I absolutely like Dr.Le & his wife. They are so sweet. There was no wait time, they are very thorough. They both made me feel very comfortable. He ordered a complete work up on me. I couldn't ask for a better or caring doctor. I recommend them 10 out of 10 to anyone who needs a good family doctor.

I became a patient when I needed a family doctor before I could get approved for knee surgery. That was many years ago and I have to say, in all my experience with doctors, Dr. Le rates very high on my list. He has such a great personality that he shares with all of his patients. I am truly grateful for all that he…

He is very easy to talk to and does not make me feel bad about not understanding some conditions. Dr. Le was able to figure out the reason for my health issues and I have been feeling a lot better ever since getting treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Is Westwood Family Medicine accepting new patients?

Yes. Dr. Le welcomes new patients of all ages, from children to older adults. Call us to book a 30-minute new patient visit, and bring your photo ID, insurance card and a list of your medications.

Do you offer urgent care or same-day visits in Bluefield?

Yes. We see patients for urgent visits Monday through Saturday for illnesses and minor injuries that need attention soon. On Saturdays the clinic is open 9 am to 5 pm for urgent care only. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Do you offer telehealth appointments?

Yes. Many visits, including follow-ups and some urgent concerns, can be done by video from home. Call us to find out whether a telehealth visit is right for your concern.

What is the difference between an MD and a DO?

Both MDs and DOs are fully licensed physicians who can prescribe medication and perform procedures. DOs, like Dr. Le, receive extra training in the musculoskeletal system and in osteopathic manipulation, a hands-on treatment for pain and movement problems.

What is the difference between a family medicine doctor and a primary care doctor?

Family medicine is one kind of primary care. Primary care doctors include family medicine doctors, internists who see adults, and pediatricians who see children. Family medicine doctors like Dr. Le are trained to care for every age, so one doctor can be the primary care doctor for your whole family.
